Free Gun Safety

Thinking of buying a gun or have a gun in your home but have never had any formal safety training? We teach a once a month free class in Ballard open to anyone of any age. This class is HB 1143 compliant and adult attendees will receive a certificate by email.
This 90 minute class will teach you about safe gun handling, firearm storage rules and options, talking to children about guns, suicide prevention and the basics of WA State gun laws. This is not an instructional class on shooting but instead one focused on safety. Around 40,000 people die from a firearm in the US each year and we can dramatically lower that number with a small amount of effort.
Please note that due to the content of the materials discussed and the length of the class, children under the age of 12 should probably not attend.
